A novelty to minimize carcinogenic substances in the work environment that affect generations.
In Sweden, thousands of workers are today exposed to chromium6, or hexavalent chromium, in their work environment, a strong carcinogen that is used in, for example, rust protection and surface treatment of metal products.
Hexavalent chromium causes lung cancer and damages the genetic code. Therefore, there is no limit value for safe exposure. Other health effects of hexavalent chromium include damage to the respiratory tract, kidney, liver and skin.
We are therefore pleased to be able to present a new product in our range of lubricants, which minimizes the risk of hexavalent chromium!
OKS 210 is a high-purity screw connection paste that is unique in its kind as it minimizes health-hazardous chromium6 formation when high-alloy steel is exposed to high temperatures. OKS 210 is also NSF H1-marked and can be advantageously recommended for, for example, the food industry, chemical industry or energy and power plants.
