Why do you often get more rust problems in summer?
- Large temperature fluctuations (day/night) increase the risk of condensation on metal components which can lead to corrosion.
- Heat increases the risk of microbial growth in process baths such as processing and anti-corrosion tanks, which impairs the process and increases the risk of corrosion.
- Staffing levels are sometimes reduced or changed during the summer, which may mean that normal routines cannot be fully followed.
