Together with our customers, we make active choices and strive towards a smoother and more pleasant environment to work in when chemicals are handled in production. Our ambition is to offer rust protection, silicone, adhesives and lubricants with minimal impact on both personnel and the environment. We have a certified environmental management system according to ISO 14001 and are connected to FTI - the industry's system for recycling packaging.

Loxeal's R&D is constantly working to develop products that are health and environmentally friendly. Label-free adhesives are today the most user-friendly adhesive products on the market, especially considering the personnel who must handle the products every day in their work.

Silicone – an obvious environmental choice!

Silicone is not classified as thermosetting plastic and most of the products are therefore very easy to work with in their production process. Thanks to this, a special adaptation of the workplace is generally avoided. When new environmental laws were introduced that restricted the use of harmful varnishes on circuit boards, Stoneridge sought a more environmentally friendly solution. The choice of Tribotec's silicone varnish turned out to be profitable in several ways.

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) is an EU directive that regulates limit values for hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. This legislation therefore covers our electronic silicones, all of which are compatible with the directive. These silicone products can therefore be used without the risk of the limit values being exceeded.

Biodegradable corrosion protection

Our VCI plastics are also available in biodegradable and compostable versions, such as compostable corrosion protection film. We also have a complete range of liquid water-based anti-corrosion products.

Cortec VpCI products are developed using the very latest chemical technology with a focus on work environment, safety, minimized fire risk and environmental impact.
