The starting point is not to process more personal data than is necessary and the endeavour is always to use the least privacy-sensitive data. Data about our employees is somewhat more extensive for both legal, general and practical reasons.
Examples of personal data that the company may process:
- Name of the organisation

- User ID
- Photographs
- Bank details
- Data registered voluntarily, for example via the website
Where and how is personal data stored
Personal data is stored in our business system, CRM system, in contact lists, on our servers and in binders; digitally and in paper format. Through the matrices and mapping the company has done, we believe we have good control and can thus show what data we have and where it is stored. This mapping forms the basis for the data subject's rights to request extracts from our records or the right to be "forgotten".
For what purposes do we process your data
We process personal data primarily to fulfil our commitments to customers, suppliers, employees and public authorities.
Personal data about our customers is used to ensure good service such as deliveries, follow-up and information, but also for customer analyses and marketing. Everyone has the right to object to us using personal data for direct marketing. When we collect personal data, we provide information about this and how to object to it via our website unless otherwise stated.
Personal data regarding our suppliers is limited, but what is available is mainly used for communicating purchases, price enquiries and technical issues.
Personal data about our employees is needed for further information to the employee but also to banks for payment of salaries and to authorities for reports under accounting and tax law. Personal data about the employee's relatives is to be able to inform if something happens to the employee.
Legal basis for processing and storage period
Tribotec always processes your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation. We process personal data when it is necessary to fulfil a contract with you and when we have another legitimate and justified interest in processing your personal data. If we process your personal data for any purpose which, under applicable law, requires your consent, we will obtain your consent before commencing such processing.
Provided that no legal relationship states otherwise, e.g. the Accounting Act, the data collected in accordance with the above will be deleted when the purposes of the processing are fulfilled.
Security to protect personal data
Tribotec is committed to ensuring a high level of security for your personal data and to this end has taken appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, modification, dissemination or destruction.
The starting point is that only employees within the organisation who need the personal data to perform their tasks should have access to it.
For sensitive personal data, we have put in place specific authorisation controls, which provide a higher level of protection for personal data.
Our security systems are designed with privacy in mind and provide a high level of protection against intrusion, vandalism or changes that could jeopardise personal privacy.
Restrictions on the disclosure of personal data
Our starting point is that we do not disclose personal data to third parties unless we have consent to do so or unless it is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations. In cases where the company uses personal data assistants, i.e. a third party, we draw up confidentiality agreements and ensure that the personal data is processed in a satisfactory manner.
Tribotec may also disclose personal data to third parties, such as the police or other authorities, if it concerns the investigation of a criminal offence or if we are otherwise obliged to disclose such data on the basis of law or a decision by the authorities.
Tribotec will not disclose your personal data other than as described in this section.
Your rights and right to lodge a complaint
You have the right, in accordance with applicable personal data legislation, to request access to the personal data processed about you at any time, to have incorrect personal data rectified, to have Tribotec cease processing and erase your personal data, to have the processing of your personal data restricted, to exercise your right to data portability, to withdraw consent to certain processing (where consent has been obtained) and to object to the processing of your personal data.
