Summer times can mean increased rust problems

Contact Us

Have you thought about what is critical in your particular flow during the summer period. Do you experience that your rust problems increase during the summer? Unfortunately, the summer period means that several companies have increased problems with rust in their processes.

Why? Yes, larger temperature variations (day/night) increase the risk of condensation on metal components and increased bacterial growth in process baths, which makes processes work worse. At the same time, the staffing at the companies decreases and routines and instructions that are normally followed may be left behind.

We in the corrosion protection group at Tribotec can help you minimize the risks.

Most of the time, we can achieve big improvements with very simple and small changes in the production process/flow, says Tribotec's sales manager in Corrosion Protection. Many companies accept having some rust in their production and thus increased costs and potential quality problems towards the end customer. Sometimes customers' corrosion problems increase during certain times of the year - which can have a natural explanation due to humidity and temperature. With relatively simple methods, we can solve these problems. Let us at Tribotec tackle the problem instead.

Here you will find some example of tasks we performed.
