Corrosion in waterborne systems is a common problem that means increased maintenance costs and a lot of work in connection with the preservation or start-up of the systems after standstill. Tanks, valves and piping systems are often pressure tested and tested with water-based media, which can cause problems with corrosion that need to be addressed before the systems can be put into use.
In its rust protection range, Tribotec has products for long-term protection against corrosion and preservation of closed cooling systems with fresh water, steam and glycol, for corrosion protection during storage of boilers and for hydrostatic testing. The products prevent both corrosion and scale formation and provide both a longer service life and reduced maintenance of your system, which means reduced costs for you. In most cases, the corrosion protection does not need to be removed before starting up the system after storage/standstill.
A combination of volatile corrosion inhibitors, contact inhibitors, anti-limescale agents and protection against microbial growth provides optimal protection for your system.
