Marine environments
Tribotec's range includes products that can withstand harsh and demanding marine environments. We have products for lubrication and corrosion protection of machine elements under the influence of seawater, offshore components and underwater equipment. For storage and transport in the marine environment, there is also the full range of VCI packaging, sometimes in combination with liquid product as a complement.
The marine environment is stressful and tough on tools, machinery and other equipment. The risk of wear and corrosion is significantly increased by weather and wind, moisture and salty environments and, for example, storage.
Tribotec's lubricant range includes products that can cope with this environment. We have a speciality grease for the lubrication of machine elements under the influence of seawater that can be used for the lubrication of offshore components and subsea equipment. High performance combined with excellent corrosion protection.
Corrosion inhibitor additives for marine applications and other process applications where protection against corrosion in fresh and salt water is required are among the corrosion protection products. Other applications include ballast tanks with salt water and pressurisation of pipelines with salt water. For storage and transport in marine environments, the full range of VCI packaging is also available, sometimes in combination with liquid product as a complement.
