Together with our customers, we make active choices and strive for a smoother and more pleasant environment to work in when handling chemicals in production. Our ambition is to offer rust protection, silicone, adhesives and lubricants with minimal impact on both staff and the environment. We have a certified environmental management system according to ISO 14001 and are affiliated with FTI - the industry's system for recycling packaging.

In our role as a distributor of chemicals, we at Tribotec have a great responsibility, especially when it comes to the impact on human health and the environment, and therefore sustainability work is a natural part of our everyday life.
Adhesives and sealants not subject to labelling
We offer products created to improve the health and safety conditions of the user.
Loxeal's R&D is constantly working to develop products that are health and environmentally friendly. Non-labelled adhesives are currently the most user-friendly adhesive products available on the market, especially for the staff who have to handle the products every day in their work.
Silicone - an obvious environmental choice!
Silicone is not classified as a thermoset plastic and most of the products are therefore very friendly to work with in their production process. This generally avoids the need for special workplace adaptations. When new environmental laws were introduced restricting the use of harmful lacquers on printed circuit boards, Stoneridge sought a more environmentally friendly solution. The choice of Tribotec silicone coating proved profitable in several ways.
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) is an EU directive that regulates limits for hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. This legislation therefore applies to our electronic silicones, all of which are compatible with the directive. These silicone products can therefore be used without the risk of exceeding the limits.
Biodegradable rust inhibitor
Our VCI plastics are also available in biodegradable and compostable versions, such as compostable anti-corrosion film. We also have a complete range of liquid water-based corrosion protection products.
Cortec VpCI products are developed using the very latest chemical technology with a focus on health and safety, minimised fire risk and environmental impact.
