Moulding
The customer had developed a system for automatic coupling between tractor and trailer, where a unit with electronics had to be protected against a very aggressive environment for many years.

Indoor protection
The company wanted to improve the environment and quality in its production process of automotive components. By using Cortec VpCI 377, all of the customer's stringent requirements were met.
Long-term storage
The use of an aluminium film with a VpCI coated inner surface provided the required properties for a 100% sealed package with combined corrosion protection.
Milcorr - heavy equipment protection
By using Tribotec/Cortec's integrated corrosion protection solutions, the protection requirements were achieved.
Transport protection in harsh conditions
Coating exposed surfaces with Cortec 368 and then Cortec 126 film gave the properties required for a 100% sealed package with combined corrosion protection.

Before a factory move, material was pre-produced to cover market needs for 2 years. This material needed to be stored in an optimal way.
Protection of hydraulic pipes
The company previously used oil to protect the inside of hydraulic pipes against corrosion. Using Tribotec's Cor-Pack Pipestrip provided a cleaner and environmentally friendly alternative.

Stoneridge Electronics is one of the leading subcontractors in the heavy automotive industry. When Sweden introduced new regulations against harmful coatings, Stoneridge was one of many companies that had to start looking for a better alternative in terms of health and safety and the environment. Tribotec's silicone-based TSE 3991 CU circuit board coating was the clear winner.
