Lubricating oil for chains
Chain drives are often exposed to extreme conditions, from high speeds and heavy mechanical loads to very high temperatures. To minimise friction and prevent chain stretching, lubricants with exceptional penetration capabilities are required to reach into the bolts and rollers of the chain, while remaining on the surface without being thrown off.
- OKS 451 - Traditional chain lubrication, transparent with excellent corrosion protection, resistant to cold and hot water.
- OKS 3541 - High-temperature synthetic oil: our first choice for chains operating under continuous heat, such as in ovens or drying systems. Extremely creep-resistant, leaves no residue and maintains its lubricity even at temperatures where conventional oils carbonise.
- OKS 3571 - When extra high adhesion is required, OKS 3571 is the excellent choice. It is a light-coloured, synthetic lubricant that combines the penetrating properties of oil with the protective barrier of grease. Particularly suitable for chains in food environments as it is NSF H1 registered.
- OKS 3711 is food grade and can withstand extremely low temperatures, such as in freezers.
