Rust protection for electronics and sensitive components in enclosed spaces

Electronics and sensitive components located, for example, in electrical cabinets or toolboxes require specialised corrosion protection that does not affect their electrical, optical or mechanical properties. Even small amounts of corrosion can lead to malfunctions, signalling problems or, in the worst case, total loss of function. 

• We recommend Cortec VpCI emitters (101, 105 and 111), where for example emitter 111 protects volumes up to 142 litres. The flexible plastic boxes with Tyvek® membrane gradually release corrosion inhibitors that fill the space and protect the metal surfaces without direct contact. Thanks to the self-adhesive backing, they are easy to assemble.
• For equipment in particularly exposed outdoor environments, we also recommend Cortec 239. This corrosion spray has a cleaning action and leaves a very thin protective layer that also counteracts static electricity. The spray is designed to provide uncompromising protection without affecting electrical resistance, magnetic or thermal properties, making it a safe choice for all types of electronic components.
