Tribotec environmental policy - how we work with environmental issues

Tribotec is committed to offering the best possible products and solutions from an environmental point of view that help our customers to reduce their environmental impact as far as it is ecologically justified, economically reasonable and technically justified. We endeavour to provide clear and transparent information on the environmental performance of our products, and to actively support our customers in their sustainability efforts through advice and technical expertise.

 

We undertake to:

  • Prioritise cooperation with environmentally conscious suppliers and contractors who address environmental issues in line with our requirements.
  • Minimise the amount of unsorted waste generated on our premises by promoting waste sorting, recycling and reuse as much as possible.
  • Minimise emissions and resource consumption with raw materials, energy and water.
  • Reduce electricity and fuel consumption through the use of energy-efficient equipment and electrification of our company cars by 2030.
  • Follow the Group's guidelines for reporting Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, including direct and indirect CO₂ emissions.
  • Plan purchases, deliveries and business trips so that our environmental impact from transport is minimised.
  • Each employee shall be trained in environmental matters so that he/she understands the environmental consequences of his/her actions and can take responsibility for the environmental impact of his/her work.
  • Strive to provide transparent information about the environmental impact of products and the company's environmental performance, and be responsive to changes in the environment.
  • Comply with applicable laws and fulfil the environmental requirements imposed on us by authorities and customers.

 

Tribotec has a certified environmental management system according to ISO 14001. We are affiliated with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's system for recycling packaging.
