Rust remover
Cortec VCI-422 rust remover for effective and fast removal of rust and discolouration from steel, iron, copper, brass and chrome surfaces. Does not damage the metals being cleaned and is also harmless to most paints, plastics, textiles, ceramics and rubbers. For outdoor and indoor use. Supplied in 19 litre cans or spray bottles.
Cortec 426 VCI Rust remover for rapid removal of rust, scale and oxides from iron/steel, copper, zinc, magnesium, bronze, brass and other metal alloys. Polishing effect on aluminium and copper. Suitable for large application areas/needs.
Cortec 414 VCI Cleaning/degreasing with rust inhibitor also removes some coatings and waxes from metal and painted surfaces without affecting them. Works well at room temperature, but can also be used in heated baths for tougher cleaning. Provides protection against corrosion even after cleaning. Effective at low concentrations. Supplied in 19 litre cans or spray bottles.
Alkaline detergent
Cortec 418 LM VCI Degreaser with rust inhibitor is an alkaline, silicate-free, non-foaming detergent for degreasing and cleaning industrial equipment, such as automatic washers and pressure washers. Contains inhibitors that protect against corrosion even after cleaning. Removes heavy deposits, grease and machine oils.
Anti-corrosion additives
Cortec 649 BD VCI Anti-corrosion additive for cooling/water systems for long-term protection of steel, copper, galvanised steel and aluminium against corrosion in closed systems with fresh water, steam and glycol. Can also be used for hydrostatic testing of tanks, valves and pipework. Combines volatile and contact inhibitors with anti-lime agents. The added biodispersant also provides some inhibitory effect on algal growth.
