What is corrosion protection?

Rust occurs when metal oxidises, i.e. comes into contact with oxygen. The metal weakens and turns a reddish brown colour. Rust protection in the form of surface treatment, VCI plastic or VCI paper protects metal parts and equipment from rusting.
