On 25 January 2018, the event will take place TEC Gothenburg at Eriksbergshallen - Quality Hotel 11. Come and meet Tribotec AB at this event for the electronics industry. Kim Heden of Tribotec will present new additions to Momentive's electronics silicone range for coating, encapsulation, moulding and bonding.

Electronics silicone
In the electronics industry, silicone is used to protect against corrosion and shocks in particular. Electronic silicone has good electrical insulating properties and is not affected by water or moisture even in the very long term. Silicone also remains flexible after curing and can therefore withstand thermal expansion in electronic components. The products also retain their flexibility over an unusually wide temperature range, making them perhaps the best material choice for sensitive electronics.
Coating of printed circuit boards
Selectively coating printed circuit boards with a protective coating is a fast and economical method for large production runs. It is also a good method if moulding is too expensive or too heavy.
A good PCB coating should have high surface insulation resistance, low viscosity, good dispersion and perfect adhesion to the substrate. Silicone-based coatings fulfil all these requirements.
Silicone circuit board coatings have also been shown in tests to provide better protection of circuit boards against, among other things, corrosion caused by condensation than conventional coatings, especially in a saltwater-rich environment. For outdoor products, silicone is probably the best option for climate protection.
Tribotec sells polymer type PCB coatings - i.e. they cure and are completely solvent free. A polymer also provides better adhesion than a resin. They are all very fast curing.
Depending on the size of the series to be produced and the speed of production, we have several different lacquers to choose from. All are solvent-free.
The event will also include seminars on new PCB technologies, the state of the components market and the latest technologies in electronics assembly.
Welcome to stand 62!
