Cortec's new UV-protected anti-corrosion plastic protects machines and components against aggressive environments and the effects of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
VpCI 126 EM UV film is recyclable and free of hazardous components. The film is made of high strength material with UV stabilisers and Cortec's proven VCI (VpCI) technology. This premium product provides strong multi metal protection for components, machine parts, machinery and vehicles up to 3 years. The product provides both contact and vapour phase protection in extremely tough outdoor applications. Unlike many protective plastic films that rely on white pigment to reflect UV light, VpCI 126 EM UV is manufactured with unique inhibitors that shield the polymer (plastic film) from UV light, preventing its degradation.
This economical plastic film eliminates the need for anti-rust oils and desiccant products. Parts protected with VpCI 126 EM UV are ready for use without the need for prior cleaning/degreasing, saving the environment, time and therefore costs for the user. The film is transparent, making it easy to identify protected parts.
