Cortec's new brochure for the food and pharmaceutical industry focuses on how to best protect this type of production facilities and equipment against corrosion and rust attack. This type of industry has tough regulations and the manufacturing facilities are often exposed to corrosive environments. Alkaline, acidic or oxidizing environments are often the result when large volumes of water and a variety of foods with varying pH have to be handled. Corrosion that occurs in food, packaging and pharmaceutical manufacturing not only increases the risk of machine breakdown but also the risk of the material being processed becoming contaminated.
