Water-based rust protection is developed as a replacement for oil-based rust protection.
An example of such a product is Cortec VpCI 377, which is used for indoor protection of equipment and components.
The product is diluted with water, according to Tribotec's recommendations, depending on the application, which gives a great flexibility adapted to each individual application depending on the time that the rust protection must cope with and the cost requirements/surface.
VpCI-377, water-based rust protection, forms a solution in water and is applied to the metal surface by dipping or spraying. VpCI-377 does not need to be removed.
If it is nevertheless necessary, the rust protection can be removed with standard alkaline detergents, such as Cortec's VpCI-410 series.
VpCI-377 is available in the following package sizes: 19 liter can, 208 liter drum, 1000 liter container.
