Superglue, or cyanoacrylate adhesive as it is also known, has been developed to bond a wide range of materials.
The adhesive cures by reacting to tiny traces of moisture on the surfaces. Not only does it work brilliantly on porous materials, but it is also ideal for metal, plastic, rubber, paper, wood and cork. As the name suggests, superglue sets incredibly quickly – sometimes in just a few seconds!
We offer a wide range of Loxeal instant adhesives to meet most production and maintenance needs.
Loxeal 61, 63 and 67 are not subject to labelling requirements, making them a significantly better choice for both health and the environment. They also have different viscosities (thickness), making it easy to tailor your choice to the application: a low viscosity flows easily into narrow gaps for instant bonding, whilst a higher viscosity is more viscous, which is ideal for filling uneven surfaces whilst also preventing the adhesive from running down vertical surfaces.
Loxeal 61 – odourless, low-viscosity adhesive for plastics and rubber that are difficult to bond
Non-labelled instant adhesive based on alkoxyethyl cyanoacrylate. Odourless, low viscosity, and no white colouring, "blooming". Suitable for use in confined spaces.
✓ Viscosity: 10–20 mPas (+25°C).
Loxeal 63 – odourless all-purpose adhesive
Odourless and low viscosity. No white discolouration or ”blooming”. Suitable for use in enclosed spaces. Slightly slower setting time, allowing for any necessary adjustment of parts.
✓ Viscosity: 80–150 mPas (+25°C).
Loxeal 67 – odourless, higher viscosity,
extended fixation time
Odourless instant adhesive, perfect for enclosed spaces as it is non-irritating. Bonds everything from metals to plastics and rubber, and prevents ”blooming” – a white film forming around the joint – for a neat, attractive finish. The curing time allows you to adjust the parts during assembly.
