Anti-corrosion plastic with VCI, no ordinary plastic bag

To effectively protect metal components and products from costly rusting, our rust protection bags with VCI are ideal.

The plastic is uniquely designed with an inner layer containing active VCI inhibitors. When a metal product is packed in the bag, a shield is formed that passivates the metal surface. The outer layers help to keep the protection in the bag. The result? Long-lasting protection against corrosion during both transport and storage, requiring no cleaning when components or metal parts are put into service.

We offer VCI corrosion protection in many different designs, for example:

Cortec VCI Huv

The anti-corrosion hood is used in standard pallets as anti-corrosion packaging. Available as standard in full and half pallet formats and in various heights, as well as a wide range of customised dimensions.

Cortec VCI Bag

Anti-corrosion packaging with VCI, as bags for small volumes and unit packs. Thickness: 100 my as standard.

Cortec VCI Shrink film

Shrink film is a durable plastic film that is formed into a tight and protective package. The film contains protective VCI as well as UV protection, making it ideal for long-term outdoor storage and tough transport. Thickness: 180-200 microns. Supplied on rolls in different widths.

Cortec VCI bubble film

Bubble wrap with VCI anti-corrosion coating, for shock and impact protection, dunnage and as a packaging filler. Protects most metals against corrosion. Supplied on rolls in different widths, or as a bag.

With a VCI solution, you minimise corrosion while saving time on unnecessary cleaning of materials and components from oils and greases. This significantly shortens the steps in your manufacturing process. You avoid spending time on rust removal and also save on material costs.
