Anti-corrosion plastic with VCI, not a regular plastic bag

To effectively protect metal components and products from expensive rusting, our rust protection bags are an advantage.

The plastic is uniquely designed with an inner layer containing active VCI inhibitors. When a metal product is packed in the bag, a protective layer is formed that passivates the metal surface. The outer layers help to keep the protection in the bag. The result? Long-term protection against corrosion during both transport and storage, requiring no cleaning when components or metal parts are put into service.

We offer VCI rust protection in several different designs, such as

Cortec VCI Palletiser

The anti-rust cap is used in standard pallets as rustproof packaging. Available as standard in full and half pallet formats and in various heights as well as a large number of customised dimensions.

Cortec VCI Pose

Corrosion resistant packaging with VCI, such as small volume bags and individual packaging. Thickness: 100 my as standard.

Cortec VCI Shrink film

Shrink film is a durable plastic film that is moulded into a difusion-proof and protective packaging. The film contains protective VCI as well as UV protection, making it ideal for long-term outdoor storage and tough transport. Thickness: 180-200 microns. Supplied on rolls in various widths.

Cortec VCI bubble film

Bubble wrap with VCI rust protection, for impact protection, storage spacers and as packaging padding. Protects most metals against corrosion. Available on rolls in different widths or as a bag.

With a VCI solution, you minimise rust attack while saving time on unnecessary cleaning of materials and components from oils and greases. In this way, you significantly shorten the steps in your manufacturing process. You don't have to spend time removing rust and you also save on material costs.
